Anglepoise

Based on an innovative spring invented by George Cawardine in 1932, the Anglepoise lamp was designed by the automotive engineer Carwardine. It's design is based on it's ability to remain in position after being moved in any direction; aided by the new type of spring that he invented. A popular item across commercial and residential design, the Anglepoise collection is a timeless classic that is well respected in the design sector.

Now with a wide range of styles and sizes, the brand has expanded beyond the simple desk lamp, including wall lights, ceiling light and giant lamps. Recently collaborating with Paul Smith, a renowned British designer, the partnership created three editions of the Type 75 desk lamp.

We absolutely adore the classic Anglepoise and it's more modern siblings. A timeless classic, it can be used effortlessly within any home, office or restaurant with such ease. At Floorspace, we personally love the innovative styles such as the Paul Smith collab, the tabletop mounted lamps and of course, the large floor lamps; which would all look amazing in any workplace.
